Digital/Web Account Manager

The Digital/Web Account Manager has two primary responsibilities within the agency: 

  1. Account Management: This role is responsible for maintaining the relationship between the agency and a portfolio of digital clients. They serve as the primary client point-of-contact facilitating professional, service-focused communication on a daily basis with clients. Candidates for this position must work to clearly understand and articulate the needs of our clients and activate agency staff and resources accordingly.

  2. Project Management: This role is responsible for working directly with clients and our digital/web teams to develop a project plan with defined timeline and milestones. Once a project plan is approved, they are responsible for monitoring progress and ensuring the project is completed on time and at budget, while exceeding the client’s expectations and our internal quality standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Effectively communicate and build professional/positive relationships with assigned clients
  • Plan, prepare and execute external and internal meetings
  • Partner with sr. digital team members to develop and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Create project plans including briefs, timelines and milestones for all web development projects
  • Cohesively work with other departments to ensure successful project completion according to deadlines
  • Review creative concepts to ensure meeting of all established guidelines before client submittal
  • Deliver all concepts to assigned clients for final approval
  • Formulate and deliver year-over-year analysis for all assigned clients
  • Partner with sr. digital/web team members to monitor budgets for all assigned clients
  • Successfully implement an up-sell strategy to increase annual team revenue
  • Occasional travel required

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in advertising or marketing 
  • 2+ years’ experience in project management
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and G Suite
  • New Business and Proposal writing experience

Preferred:

  • Public speaking and budget management experience
  • Ad agency experience is a plus
  • 2+ years digital marketing and web development experience
  • Experience with project management software 
  • Knowledge of digital platforms, software and tools (e.g. Google Ads, SEMrush, etc.)
